"Right. I knew that." He retorted after a moment, a shift of his eyes giving away that he was only slightly aware she'd been joking. For a moment, he wondered if somehow she was trying to find a way to place the blame for the power outage on him and in that case, he didn't understand why. He no longer had the ability to do that and while it wasn't a nearly as bitter point for him, it was still a pill to swallow in the end of it because he was having a constant reminder of what he used to be capable of. That kiss, it was something that left him looking at her for a moment, wishing she hadn't moved away so quickly, even if she ended up moving next to him on the bed. That closeness, it wasn't new for them, but there was something different about the moment. Something he hadn't felt moments before, but had felt between them before now.
Without realizing, he did move closer to her, albeit he didn't reach out to touch her, at least not truly. His hand seemed to move between them, as if wanting to touch her, but not sure about it all the same. It wasn't him second guessing because he didn't want to, but rather it was a point of not knowing what was and was not appropriate in accordance to their relationship. He knew what he felt for her, at least in vague notions, and he associated certain things from his knowledge of humans with those feelings, which was why he hesitated because he couldn't be certain what it meant for Meg, in comparison to what he felt.
"I've... never played charades before. How would we do that?"
