"I don't think you would abandon me, no. Find time to yourself, for your own doing, yes." Castiel, for as much as he needed her and wanted her there with him, knew she needed that outlet to herself. It was also something he needed in his own right. Space, free time to himself, things that kept them from getting frustrated with one another. They required their own hobbies and interests to keep themselves sane, as well. Sanity was an important thing for Castiel, because he didn't want his current state as a human to be what brought along his undoing now that his brain was exactly where it needed to be and in the state it needed to be in.
"I think I have observed something like that happening, a long time ago." He nodded a bit, showing his understanding of what she was talking about. After all, he'd seen plenty of acts of nature and natural disasters, the way that humans warred against one another. Various things that would come from the observation of human life and the day to day goings on, on Earth. "Would it not be there still in the morning or whenever the storm finally calmed?" He wasn't sure if he understood why she would try to go out and seek the "pretty" item out now, but that was often something that happened between them, that lack of understanding.
"Maybe I would like to keep you company." He answered simply, his response so very truthful, it was probably painfully obvious how much he wanted to abandon his sleep and spend time with her for a change.
