As quickly as Castiel had been overwhelmed by the range of feelings and thoughts he was having, with Meg leaning over him like she was, so close she was to him, that all quickly faded when the feeling in the air changed. He couldn't claim he completely noticed the charge in the air that was there, that made it clear that there was something more than him being a poor, confused puppy about not knowing what to do with her, but it was still there. He didn't completely understand all the factors that went into the attractions people felt for one another, not beyond his observations and knowing they had to have things that drew them in together, so he was genuinely out of sorts when it came to how to express that he knew he had feelings for her and he also had urges when it came to her, as well.
"No," he said almost quickly, as he admired the way his coat wound around her. It was large and too long on her, enough to make her appear small inside of it, but it was a sight he actually felt a surge of joy or pride, in addition to his arousal, in seeing. His coat had seen its fair share of things, but no one else wore it but him. It was something he was attached to and even now, now that he was human, it was of some value to him. But Meg was allowed to wear it, that much he'd decided now that he saw her wearing it.
He got up from the patio chair, deciding to follow her inside, because it appeared as if she decided to go inside now, from how she was turning off her music.
"You always come to me. You look after me and are my care taker, but it occurred to me that I had your address and had yet to come to you." Not because he wanted to take care of her, but he would if the need arose because she'd gotten into another fight with someone here in Oakdell. And, because he didn't want to be alone. With Meg, even if he was asleep and she was on the couch, it was a point of ease and kept his mind from traveling too far, to where he thought of being in Naomi's chair, either when Naomi herself was messing with his head or when Metatron was stealing his grace from him and betraying the rest of the angels by making them fall.
