"Wonderful," he replied to her remark. Getting along famously with a time goddess was only in his favor. Catty had already shown she didn't mind breaking the rules and he didn't think it would take much to push her towards slightly more dangerous crimes. She could get them out of any real trouble, after all.
Hook smirked and flourished a hand through the air. "Why thank you, lovely. I'm glad you care whether or not I am a pancake. The fatal part always would have been a tad inconvenient." He gave her an exaggerated pout to show his feelings on dying. He had too much left to do and he had no time for death.
"Aye?" He spun completely around so he was facing her again. "Do you swim like a mermaid then?" It had been a bit since he had actually jumped into any water. The fight on the ship didn't count, he had dived in to rescue his hook. That wasn't pleasure, that had been near pain.
Hook stretched his arms above his head before clasping his hands behind his neck. His gaze was back on the water. "So, enjoying this boring town?"
