Without Steve around to keep his head straight Bucky knew he's eventually start to dig deeper into his thoughts. Try to pull out things he had forgotten. There was enough he had gotten back to figure out what man he was but that wasn't who he was now. So many things had changed since then. Things had been done that he could never take back. But for the moment that didn't matter all that much.
Now he was in a strange new place. Some looked at him like a regular man with a metal arm. Some barely even looked at him as they passed him on the street at all. Had they all ever just had that fleeting thought in the back of their mind that maybe they could just start over? It was a nice thought, but people like him and Natasha just weren't bred that way.
Which was why he was out again seeking out her place. It didn't take long for him to find it at all. Clad in a white wifebeater his jacket and black cargo pants, he ran his hand over his hair and knocked lightly. There was so much pent up inside the both of them that they needed this little bit of release.
