What the fuck just happened!? you might be wondering. Did they really just kill off the Prince and everyone else running the city? Yes, yes we did.

This was one of the biggest plot points we had in our prewritten plot to get to and now we're here. The fall out from this will be a lot of our focus going forward as our characters are now faced with not only trying to rebuild what was lost but try and survive the encroaching SI.

In case anyone is unsure, here is a quick run down of the explosion and what it means for the Camarilla Kindred of New York:

The Prince, Primogen Council, the Justicar, and visiting representatives from Chicago and Boston all died in the explosion that took out Ballard Tower which was home to Ballard Industries. Ballard Industries sound familiar? Check out the business page.

Micah and Amadeus did survive the explosion (yeah, who's frivolous and overly dramatic for teleporting everywhere now, Sethius). However they went to ground straight away and no one knows the Ventrue Primogen and the Sheriff are still alive. For now.

So what does this mean going forward? The remaining Kindred of New York are going to have to work together to survive and rebuild. Some may have to step up. There's going to be heat from a Justicar and members of the Chicago and Boston courts getting killed in their city. Without a Prince and a Council currently, New York is weak and it means that outside Kindred are going to be eyeing it as something that can easily be taken over. The local Anarches may even start eyeing it as well.

As of right now, those left may have their suspicions about who is behind the explosion but it won't be confirmed for a few more days as information starts coming to light.
