Amadeus frowned over the fact that the phone was not here. Maybe it was and the battery was just dead but he highly doubted it since the phone had not gone straight to voice mail when he had called it. It might that somewhere someone was likely looking at Alex's phone has it rang and see his name come across it. Somehow he doubted that person was Maya. She hadn't seemed like she was in the right state of mind to think to grab it.
Maybe the retainer who had found the Primogen's body had taken it but there didn't seem to be a reason for that either. What mattered right now was the fact that it was ringing through and so Amadeus texted the phone number to a certain hacker to see if she could pick up a location from it.
"Anything," Amadeus called out as he slipped his own phone back in his pocket for the time being. He didn't have much hope of Ariel finding anything. Most likely anything important was on that phone or if there was an appointment book it was probably kept by someone else. But maybe there'd be something else. Letters. Memos. Something that could be passed electronically before the NET went up or because the NET wasn't trusted.
