Who: Amadeus & Ariel
What: The supposedly dead Sheriff goes looking for his lover.
When: The night after the explosion
Where: An abandoned building
Rating: High likely

The night before had been a blur. After the tower had gone up in an explosive ball of light, he had done his best to get ahold of Amadeus and there had been nothing. What else could he think but the worst? Each unanswered call followed by unanswered text settled in the pit of his stomach, a growing cold weight that he couldn't see past. At some point, he believed he might have blacked out. But it wasn't so much a black out as the Beast finally, truly escaping its confines and his tentative control. One might have thought he would have left a trail of bodies but Ariel seemed to have kept control long enough to go somewhere that it wouldn't matter.

The building was abandoned long enough that it was full of homeless squatters, drug dealers doing their work, junkies. He had chased them from floor to floor. No one had noticed the screaming. No one had escaped. With a building burning and damage surrounding it from the force of the blast, there were no eyes on Ariel and the disaster within that old brick building. When there was no one left to kill, the creature had retreated to the basement of the building, the blessed dark as the sun rose high above the damaged skyline.

Now, it was the next night and Ariel didn't remember what he had done - not really. But the evidence surrounded him in the cold night. Being that it was winter, there weren't any flies or other insects. The blood was mostly nearly dried, sticky puddles. The corpses stank, strewn everywhere - some whole, some not. Some gutted, some not. Though the evidence was on every floor, the majority of it was surrounding Ariel as he knelt on the concrete that should have been freezing him to the bone had he not already been dead. His hair was caked with blood and his fingers were tipped in claws that refused to retreat. His mouth was so sharp.

Ariel had managed simple texts to Amadeus now that he was getting responses (though he didn't recognize the number). And then he sat and waited. He was... He was a good... A good boy. He. He was. At some point, he forgot to blink and just sat amongst the gore, frozen in place, waiting.
