If Joseph had been in a better mood, he'd have been all too content to pillow his head in Rhys' lap and browse things on his phone and resist the urge to distract the young Tremere from his lessons. But today was not a good day and Joseph desperately wanted to stop thinking about everything. There was only one sure way to do that.
Joseph chuckled at the idea people would notice they were missing. "Love, it's a yearly excuse for the Toreador to host a mass orgy in the guise of a party," he pointed out. "Anyone not in the ballroom is assumed to be in the other room. And vice versa." That was if he even cared. Which Joseph didn't. No Rose would blame him for taking his gorgeous lover off to a corner. Sulky he wasn't sharing, but they certainly wouldn't blame him for acting on the desire.
He likely could have chosen the hand rubbing his chest, but he it had been far easier to choose the one already close to his mouth. Joseph definitely wished it wasn't too soon to fed on each other again. But they could play until it wasn't. Sometimes, especially after the nights after the fire when he'd nearly thrown caution to the wind and done it anyway. If his lover was any clan but Tremere, he likely would have.
Joseph chuckled at the idea they would be the only ones damaging the furniture. Of course, Rhys had never participated in an orgy, especially a vampire orgy. His interest in Joseph's teasing was delicious, though. "Good," he agreed. "As soon as the festivities really begin, we'll find ourselves an empty room and have our own little party."
Really, it probably wasn't too early. It'd been over a month since they fed on each other. But saving it for the party sounded far more appealing.
