It was pretty apparent which of those things Rhys had been experiencing or rather still was from the looks of him. That was it then. Henry was gone. They'd likely never know what happened to him, not unless someday Rhys went looking but even then he was unlikely to get answers. Too many of them simply disappeared in these modern nights. One would think it would make it easier but there were too many kine taking up the world now and too many Kindred who had shied and pulled away from the modern world as the threat of the Second Inquisition grew greater.

Maybe he should have stepped out and gotten Joseph then, but Amadeus took a moment to clean everything up before he did.
