Joseph was worried about how this turned out either way. Whether Henry was still alive and might return or if he had somehow met Final Death. There were a lot of unanswered questions. And considering this involved a powerful Tremere, they answers to those questions likely weren't terribly pleasant.
He'd indulged in some small talk with Bruno on the trip over to Henry's Haven. Joseph knew he shouldn't get involved in Tremere dealings at all, but Rhys had wanted the moral support. So of course he'd agreed. Hopefully, nothing went wrong where his intervention would be needed. Not that Joseph would object to smashing something or some deserving bastard after the fire business.
Instructing Bruno to wait for them, Joseph let Rhys take the lead. This was his show, after all. Amadeus' greeting was met with a wry chuckle. "Relax, sheriff," he replied. "I'm just here to be moral support. And to make certain no one and nothing disturbs you."
