For a moment, Kjell just looked at Amadeus with those dangerous eyes and that cloud of blood that circled his fingers. It was an impressive and curious display, as all Tremere magic was, but it was nothing he hadn't seen the Sheriff do before. Slowly, his head tilted on his narrow neck. "Of course. We will learn all we can. But if the only witness is dead and the evidence is buried, by us, acting against a Primogen will become far more difficult."
Certainly not impossible, however. Lies could be spun. Secrets could be unearthed. Accidents could happen. But it would not be so straight forward as identifying another Kindred as a traitor against the Prince. None of this seemed worth saying aloud, however. They both knew all that.
