Cian probably wasn't expecting a serious answer to that question but Connie gave it anyway, starting with the question, "What do you know about string theory?" The answer, he was certain, was next to nothing. What Kindred their ages honestly bothered with theoretical physics? Connie did because it explained the world and how he viewed it. "I know too much, See too much - capital S," which was an important distinction.
"So I know the right answers because I have already Seen them. At this moment, there are an infinite number of strings before us - follow each one and a different outcome emerges. I was a Seer as kine, as my mother was. Our blood turned it up to eleven. If you don't get your head together as much as we can, God help us all," Connie shook his head slightly.
None of that at all was what Cian asked. It had been rhetorical and had been more emotional than practical - Connie understood this. Still, it had an answer and he could provide. "Unless you would prefer the universe where I just jump your bones and disregard the state of your head."
