Julian had of course known Chiyu was outside of his door before she even knocked. It was hard not to when the moment she had started coming down the hall the whispers had started to press in upon him. It was also so very hard to ignore her mind when he was so raw to the world right now as he tried to get a handle on the sudden growth in his abilities. It almost felt like being sired all over again.
And Chiyu...she was different as well wasn't she? Cracking at the seams already and leaving her even more open than before. At least right now it wasn't as tempting as it would have been a few days. He was too unsettled to be in that mood currently.
It was easy to pick up that she had been told by Connie to not bother him. He supposed that meant he should just ignore her.
"What's the current definition of okay in this house," He called out and asked before pushing himself up and sitting on the edge of the bed. "You can come in. Or stand out in the hallway so that you're not techincally going against what Connie said to do."
