He would have splashed back if Joseph didn't get in as fast as he did, a laugh being swallowed as the older man straddled him to claim his lips. It wasn't that gentle of a kiss and if Rhys was honest with himself, he was glad it wasn't. He'd missed being close to him the past two nights and though they had gone to sleep together, as normal, it wasn't the same. Not the same as being able to touch him as he wished.
While one hand went to hold his lover's face, the other went to rest on his hip, fingers tight against the skin there, making indents. One moment, he was the gentle fledgling that hadn't wanted to actually hit his fist against Joseph's wider chest. The next, he was kissing him as if he would never get another chance.
After what felt like forever, Rhys broke the kiss just to nip at Joseph's bottom lip, drawing little scratches that didn't quite bleed. It was quickly followed up with the tip of his tongue soothing the little lines. "I missed you..."
