Amadeus & Hounds
Inside the Blue Velvet was bad. If Amadeus had teleported straight in instead of walking in there was a good chance he could have ended up with a beam or piece of ceiling landing on him—or worse through him.
Most had done made it out but there were still the cries and screams of though who hadn't. Who had become trapped because their disciplines were not ones that were going to help them against fire or a building coming down around them because of that fire. That was something most were ill-prepared for. Amadeus could understand that because while his magic kept him from actually going up in flames, he could still feel the heat of the flames as they pressed in around him.
He managed to clear some of the way, moving what he could with a wave of his hand, but even that bit of power had its limits on how much he could move. Then has the flames licked around him he spotted her. Amadeus was sure that earlier in the night that Anastasia must have looked like a moon goddess. Now that goddess was soiled with soot as she was trying to soothe a trapped Kindred.
Her eyes looked up at the Sheriff and for a moment relief flashed in them. "Help me move this." The moment he did the Kindred was being pushed into his arms.
Amadeus held out a hand to Anastasia. "Come with me, this section is about to collapse." But all he got in return was a shake of Ana's head. "Not until they're all out." They both knew she'd not be coming out. She helped another Kindred step over a burning beam and handed that one off to Amadeus as well. "Get them out of here. And tell Ash I said to live and be happy." Then the Toreador went in deeper leaving the Tremere with no choice but to leave her behind.
As he appeared back on the street, he really didn't pay attention to who he passed the Kindred off to before heading back in.
