Even though he had been focusing on Leo's thread, Julian hadn't even realized that he was there until he was right in front of him asking him what he needed. Julian dropped his hands and raised those incredibly blue eyes of his to look at the man in front of him.
What did he need? There were a lot of things that he needed but they were all things that he couldn't ask of Leo. Just thinking of the multitude of things he needed but hadn't gotten in so long caused a laugh to burst out of the younger Kindred to which he reached up and placed his hand over his mouth to stop it before he sounded about as insane as he the look he already had in his eyes. Though, if he had a mirror he would have known that his eyes looked sad and lost more than anything else at the moment.
Julian started to reach out with his other hand to touch Leo but stopped himself before he could, but it was clear in the way that his hand trembled that he very much wanted to. His brow furrowed as he tried to sort through everything in his mind, whispers around him quieting for the moment. "I—" he started but then stopped, his eyes going to Leo's once more.
"It's gotten worse. Louder. Ever since—" He didn't know why he trusted Leo other than the fact that there was something about the other that grounded him. That and he knew that he couldn't hurt the Elder Brujah even if he lost it. But he didn't know if he could trust him with this.
