To say their last little girls night out ended horribly wrong was a very complete understatement. It had killed the mood. Well, the poor little dead ghoul would have ruined anyone's mood, even the one they had entered that building with. First the murdered Primogen, then the hunters, that smiley guy, the anarchs getting louder, and now missing and murdered ghouls. She still couldn't get it out of her head that she had been going on and on about needing a ghoul not too long ago. What if that had been her's, laying there in that bathtub? It was more than a bummer. He had still been someone, either way. Garnet had been focused on her mood, and Claudia's, but that had still been a dead person in that basement. And they hadn't gone nicely.
It was hard not to remember that sight but she was trying. Tonight was another go. Another chance to get out of this mood she'd been in since that night. She'd lost herself in inspiration, especially after that charming post from Ash on the net. She'd made several pieces in the past while, including the two she had sent to the older Toreador as a thank you present. Garnet knew she owed much more than that, but it was hard to figure out how to pay a debt like that. How did one repay being taken in after being attacked like she was?
The last text she sent to her best friend before going off to her closet to get dressed was a simple 'come over first?' She had something to give the older women before they went out for the night. If Claudia hadn't been with her in that basement, she wouldn't have left so clear headed and she knew that. Them being together in that scene only strengthened the bond they had - at least it did for her.
Before she came back to her phone, she had put on a simple little black dress, thigh high boots and a strand of black stones around her neck.
