Leaving this place was going to be hard, and he knew it. He tended to attach himself to places like he did people and as a kindred, this had been the only place he knew. He wasn't quite sure why it had to be somewhere closer to him if he could teleport, but it wasn't like he was going to speak up about it right now. He barely wanted to talk about this at all, any of it. He had been right about being worried earlier this evening when he was still laying wrapped up with Joseph. But... It wasn't all bad, either, right?
Working with Mab seemed like a good decision. Rhys was comfortable with her in a way he wasn't with a lot of others, but that seemed like an odd choice. She was an exact opposite for him, as was the Brujah he'd spent the night with. Loud and lively. It was really no wonder why he would want to surround himself with people like that, though. Maybe some of their personality and extroverted ways could rub off on him, too. At least that was the hope.
Stumbled out? There was a touch of confusion across the younger Tremere's face before Amadeus said that name. His throat tightened, as did his mess of fingers in his lap, softly cracking the joints. That's what he meant. Did he want to continue seeing him? It was hard to say no, but he didn't know if he would want to continue to develop feelings if that's all it ended up being. There was a quick look over to Ariel after his mentor finished but he figured the man already knew everything already.
Without thinking about it, Rhys untangled his fingers and rubbed his hand over the side of his neck, the place Joseph had bitten him the most. "W-what things?"
