An alley? That made him feel a little better. For a moment, he'd thought it was going to happen inside the club itself. Doing so inside was probably against the rules, like it was in multiple other places. Good thing he had se sort of directional ability when it came to west or east. Too bad it wasn't enough not to get him lost and bumping into random vampires that made him want to run all the way back home instead of meeting with his mentor.
Unlike when he had been told to watch Ariel and Amadeus, Rhys was able to keep his focus on where Joseph went and what he did. Would he ever be able to move through a crowd like that, confident and sure? He hoped so. What a being he would be then, to not be rules by his sheltered and anxiety ridden life...
When blue eyes rose to connect with his green ones, Rhys felt hunger tightening in his stomach. When she looked up, giggling and nodding at whatever it was that Joseph had said? He couldn't have gotten to the door fast enough and it wasn't even close to the same thing that had made him want to leave before. For that split, short moment, he forgot himself. When the cold brick hit his back, however, it came rushing back to him, making his fingers press into the wall behind him.
This was probably not the best decision but he didn't have too long to fret over himself as the older man and the blood doll came around the corner. It left him cautiously pushing himself off the wall, turning to face them. She was prettier up close, her heart racing a little with excitement.
