He had paused there, at the edge of the crowd, momentarily losing Joseph as he watched people, watched the blood dolls. It wasn't his favorite pastime, to be around this many people. He could handle smaller groups, but being sucked into a crowd like this? He wasn't even sure what he would do if he was pulled into it. How did he feed in this situation?
