There had been a moment there when the door had been clear in his vision, just only half the club to go around still. He'd make it and could just go home. Then again, there was the idea of the hunters possibly around the corner just waiting for an idiot walking home alone, like him. Wasn't he just saying he didn't care if they caught him? What had changed there?
That moment disappeared, being replaced by someone who was, by his guess, another kindred. What clan, he didn't quite know, though. Some people he'd met, so far, were easy. Mab? He could have guessed if he didn't know who he was. Tristian had been easy as well, but this stranger? He had to be older. No one else he'd met so far had been newly embraced like Rhys was and it was something he wondered at, from time to time.
Dance? "O-oh, I don't dance too much." There was a hesitation there, yes, but his speech was getting better, even if he was being faced with things he just didn't like, whatsoever. He had to get over things, he knew that, but it was hard. At least he wasn't exactly clinging onto people anymore... He had started doing exactly that with Mab, though, hadn't he. Damn, again. "I never learned." Kind of hard to when all he did was get buried in piles upon piles of books.
Then there was the rest, and he couldn't help but feel a spark of relief in his chest. Without realizing it, he drug his hand through those dark curls, an almost smile on his lips. He wasn't going to escape and he couldn't just run around this person, he wasn't raised that way, even if it probably would have helped him in some situations. He'd have to stick this out, for now, even though he wanted the door. There was something kind of charming about the other man, even in the middle of his anxieties crawling up his throat. "Somewhere quiet... A-Actually."
