"Oh don't give me that look. It's better than telling you know who that you want to spend quality family time with him," he arched an eyebrow but didn't go into any further specifics. The threats were there and he was going to give Julian the benefit of the doubt.
Without a word and with the nimblest of touches, he was sneakily putting strands of hair out of place on her hand just to see what she might do for Julian's sake. "She's already there, Julian. She's perfect," on both points, it seemed, "And I hope I've made it quite plain that we're all a wee bit mad and sometimes, a stabilizing force is needed."
With the hairs out of place, he quietly futzed around with her clothes. Anything he could knock out of place subtly and without being, well, overly revealing or rude went. "But truly, what do you wish you had known?"
