Mab watched quietly so as to not distract the boy. She preferred the elegance of seduction in a crowded room but this would have to do for now. Honestly, she wasn't even sure he'd be able to manage the spell but she was prepared to leap up and claim that her brother was a little unstable if it went wrong.
And yet... It went exactly right. He had managed with aplomb though she would have preferred if he had pulled her a bit more into the darkness. Still, from what she could tell, they were still very safe. No footsteps. No sensation of electronic whirring from anything but the weak, scattered park lights and the cellphones belonging to the three of them. Good, very good.
