To say that Rhys was tired of being stuck inside was two things. An understatement and a surprise. Before recent events, he would have loved to be told he didn't have go out, almost ever, to do anything. A house full of books and internet? Sign him up yesterday. Being told to? That seemed to be a very different story. The post had been his first since being 'grounded', and his only real contact outside. He'd been more than embarrassed by what happened and had done his absolute best to not bother anyone that had been involved unless necessary.
The fact that he had been able to step outside without Ariel or Amadeus just popping up out of nowhere had almost been a surprise. At least he was dressing up, a little bit? His clothes weren't as baggy on him, they actually fit. Well, not enough to show off how small he actually was, of course, but it was a step up. That didn't solve the fact that he didn't stand at his full height, hands stuffed into his pants pockets so he wouldn't fidget too much with them.
Being called out to, Rhys smiled some as he changed course to stand in front of Mab. Her offering her hand took him a little aback but eventually, he simply took it, feeling a slight tingle in his fingertips as he did so. "Hello, Miss Mab." At least his voice was less mouse-ish. Though he wasn't quite used to the sound of it, anymore.
