This was dumb. He was dumb. But mostly the situation itself was dumb as fuck. For one fucking thing, Rook should have been coming to him but the other Gangrel hadn't seen fit to do so just yet. Still, he wasn't going to be petty. It was going to be fine. He wasn't causing problems by doing this... Okay, he probably was. Ariel doubted that Rook wanted him anywhere near the shop but that just wasn't an option at this point. If he didn't do something, the wolf was going to get pissed off, and then it'd be a fight.
Still, this was one of the rare moments he was getting lately that he could just be... himself. There was no reason to dress to impress. Torn black jeans and t-shirt with no sleeves that used to have the print for a band on the front but now just had flecks left behind. There were no shortages of janky cars and motorcycles in this part of town so he fit right in as he parked outside of The Rookery, feeding a meter a couple of coins since he didn't expect to be there long.
He waited outside for a good fifteen minutes of internal debate as to how to approach this before deciding, fuck it, there's no real good way to go about this whole meeting. As long as he didn't start off by being an asshole, it might go well. As he went into the shop, he took off his sunglasses and hung them casually on the front of his shirt. "Excuse me?" he called out, keeping his tone relatively neutral, "I'm looking for Rook."
