Ariel was practically limp as Amadeus moved him around, not hindering but not helping either. He was focused on his arm and trying to expedite the healing of the gouges as much as he could. But he relaxed a bit with the kisses, keeping his eyes closed.
"I'm sorry," he managed after a moment, leaning heavily back against Amadeus. "I didn't know--the wolf. It doesn't care if it can see the restraints. The unseen freaked it out." It had been very much like an animal caught in a snare for a moment. "I'm sorry. It was supposed to be fun..."
