A Letter
Some hours into the evening, an old-fashioned letter arrived at the Rookery. No one saw who delivered it - it was simply there one moment and then gone the next. However, it was clearly addressed to Rook. The paper was thick and folded just so. A deep blue wax seal held it shut bearing the monogrammed letters 'O H' which simply spoke of just how old that seal press was. Upon opening was a drawing in black.
Below were the words "Ever thine. Ever mine. Ever ours." in a green-blue ink that shimmered gold and pink in certain places and very 18th-century handwriting. It is not signed.
