Amadeus gave a nod to dismiss the blood doll once Rhys was done. As much as he wanted to lay into him right that second, he gave it a moment so that the blood had time to clear any lingering haze in the fledgling's mind. He wanted Rhys to be very, very clear-minded for what he had to say. As he waited, he watched Ariel and really seeing the agitation of his lover just fueled Amadeus's anger even more.
His eyes moved back to Rhys, considering as he did. It would seem that he had been going too easy on the boy. Had allowed him too much freedom. Maybe he just simply hadn't made himself clear enough. Amadeus knew he had a way about him that came off as easy-going that lured others into a false feeling of ease. Rhys was about to find out what lay underneath all of that. What happened when one fell for what Amadeus choose to show on the surface.
The moment he could tell the blood was working, the Elder Tremere was stalking closer to the fledgling. It wasn't hands that pushed Rhys back against the wall. Magic crackled in the air around Amadeus' fingers as he moved, a dangerous threat as he twitched one of those fingers and used magic to pin Rhys up against the wall.
"Let's get a few things straight that were apparently not clear from the start. If you ever pull this again. If you ever lie to me or omit the truth from me again then we are done. I don't mean that I walk away. I don't mean that I hand you over to the chantry to deal with you. I mean that I will put an end to your existence myself." Another twitch of his finger and the invisible hold he had on Rhys tightened. "You endangered not just yourself but Ariel and I as well. No more unsanctioned spells or rituals or it won't be magic burning you up or the beast within that you'll have to worry about because trust me little one, your inner beast has nothing on the one currently looking out at you. From now on you clear everything with me. Do you understand me?"
