When Ash opened his eyes he would have found Rook still staring at him very intensely, those pupils hardly there before they returned to normal. It was clear that Rook had not been expecting to have that sort of reaction to that at all. And to get that smile on top of it—poor Rook was very much trying to make sense of it.
"Dancing," he echoed back, a hint of panic in his voice. Rook had been hoping to avoid that part altogether. He had no idea how to dance. The singing though—well, he was having problems with wanting to step in closer and coo and warble at Ash right now as it was. "Singing? Oh, you mean like when you were le—crying? Or the other?"
