Rook had certainly had enough of violence and excessive cruelty in his lifetime but when push came to shove he would use violence if he had to protect. He was glad that it had not come down to it though. He wasn't sure what would have happened if he had started ripping into those Anarchs to keep them from harming Ash. How much harder it would have likely been to pull back from the beast's mind when the wolf was so much closer to it than the raven ever would be.
"Yeah. I think I'm good." Even as he said it, Rook was slow to let go of Ash, to lose that contact that steadied him right now. He had to fight the urge to immediately turn into the raven and flew up on Ash's shoulder so that he could continue seeking it. To nestle up against his face and murmur to them both. But Ash needed him to be a man right now, not a bird, and so Rook stood up. "Mab's going to be pissed when she finds out."
