He wanted more hair pets. Tristian watched longingly as Cian's fingers removed themselves from his pale tresses; would anyone really notice if he skipped out early?
Of course they would. One of the downfalls of being difficult to miss was that you could never steal away into the night without someone spotting you. Ana would definitely not be pleased. "It is."
Tristian reluctantly slipped out from Cian's hold, still wishing he had a little longer to enjoy this. When the older Kindred spoke it felt like he'd heard him. "You're coming back to the bar with me?" He beamed and eagerly took hold of Cian's hand, picking his way through the crowd before the Elder had the time to answer him. A couple of steps in he stopped suddenly as if he'd forgotten something and turned back.
He leaned in and pressed a kiss to Cian's cheek and gave the older man one last squeeze before reclaiming his hand and leading him back to the bar.
