Amadeus just looked at Rhys for a moment before giving a nod. What did he tell him? That it was his job? In a way it was and it wasn't. He could have just destroyed him and been down with him but he hadn't. Instead, he was already thinking of everything that Rhys was going to need to know in order to survive because unlike Henry, Amadeus couldn't be here all the time look after him. "Just don't read any Latin out loud from books bound in human flesh." It was both a joke and...not. Amadeus wasn't sure what Henry had in his collection. He doubted there was anything dangerous but one could never be sure.
It was a relief that he was willing to stay inside but still, Amadeus didn't want to take a chance on things. He hunted around for some paper that hadn't already been scribbled all over with notes and started to write somethings down that Rhys would need before handing it to him. "I don't know if Henry explained what Elysium is, but should you need to leave and something happens go to this address. It's a nightclub but it's also safe haven for vampires. You'll be safe there until I or someone I trust can come. I've written down my number as well as one of my associates. If you have need of Kjell, don't be alarmed by him. His face is more serious than his bite." Amadeus wasn't sure exposing Rhys so soon to the Nos was a good idea but if something happened and he himself couldn't get to the childe, Kjell was one he could trust to look after him.
"Finally, if you get too stir crazy there is internet of a sort now for Kindred you can go on. I'm not sure how helpful some of the Kindred you'll find on there will be but it at least gives you a means of communication."
It was really the most that Amadeus could do for Rhys' tonight. He had things to look into, people to speak with, and things to gather up. The most important thing right now was making sure he stayed fed and had the resources he needed to stay safe, both of which Amadeus had seen to or would be as soon as he left here. "If you don't have any questions that require an immediate answer I'll leave you to it." For the first time that night, Amadeus smiled as he looked at Rhys. Hopefully, the boy had enough of a sense of humor and had at least read the book to get it when the elder Tremere told him, "Good night, Rhys. Sleep well. I'll most likely kill you in the morning."
