"For what," Amadeus inquired as he looked around the Haven. He didn't hesitate to start poking around and picking up some of the papers to read over the notes before setting them down and moving on to the next. "For being Embraced? For Henry going missing? For showing up at the Tower? For ending up my responsibility? There's a long list of things that you could be sorry for but in the grand scheme of things, it does little good to apologize for them. Unless of course, you killed Henry, then you might want to apologize...to him and not me."
Amadeus looked up from the book he was flipping through and gazed at Rhys. "You didn't, did you? Kill Henry?" Even as it was asked as a question it wasn't truly meant to be one or to be answered. There wasn't any doubt in Amadeus' mind that Rhys had not killed his sire. There was also no doubt in his mind that the Prince would have had Henry killed. There was no reason to. Henry, like most Tremere, cared more about his studies then he did which Prince was currently running the city. But something had happened to Henry and he was going to have to find that out. Which meant he was going to have to go have a talk with Sethius and the thought alone made Amadeus groan inward.
"Rhys isn't? Amadeus Lazarus. You may call me Amadeus." He didn't add on an 'at your service' because he wasn't here at Rhys' service was he? No, Amadeus was to decide whether he lived or he died.
