He almost wanted to question Amadeus, but he accepted his words with just an amused smile. Sometimes he wondered if things were too good, too perfect (because perfect came with imperfections). Would they burn out too fast? God, he hoped not. He hadn't really ever felt this way about someone before. Even with everything going on, it just felt right.
"Whoa!" he laughed, settling easily into Amadeus's lap. His arms went around his lover and he pressed into the kiss more deeply. Alright then. Fuck the city. He was perfectly content to let it crumble around them if it meant just being here, right there in the moment. Though he did break off long enough to murmur against Amadeus's lips, "I was told there was a present." But then he just went right back to kissing the Tremere because it didn't really matter.
