For Blaine, it wasn't too hard coming up with something to wear to Rachel's ice cream social. He had a pretty classic style and a few choice pieces of clothing that his brother often deemed his "Sinatra/Ricky Ricardo" look. That in mind, it had been harder for Blaine to convince Tina and Artie to come. Not because they didn't want to, but everyone had fallen in to their prospective, New York City groove.
Blaine had shot off a quick text to Tina asking her to come with him as his "Lucy" during one of his theory classes and had followed it up before heading upstairs to Rachel and Kurt's with one more letting her know that she didn't need to bring anything with her if she was able to come, he had taken care of everything.
A few bags in hand and two bouquets of flowers, Blaine headed up the stairs to the all but familiar flat that Rachel and Kurt shared. Lately he had been spending most of his free time upstairs with Kurt that part of him wondered when Rachel might demand he started paying rent there too. He laughed to himself about it all and quickly composed himself as he arrived at the two best friends door.
Hands full, Blaine opted to kick the door lightly instead of knocking. He wasn't totally barbaric after all and the last thing he needed was to scuff one of his favorite pair of shoes.
