"Why thank you," Blaine beamed. He was a bit of a shoe snob and his ever growing collection reflected that pretty accurately. "My mom actually found them and when I saw them, well I couldn't pass them up. And wow I sound like a nerd who's mom buys their clothes."
The red tint to Blaine's cheeks was all it took to clue anyone in that he was a little embarrassed by his admission. He wasn't ashamed of the relationship he shared with his mother, if anything it was the complete opposite, but when you were just getting to know some one it was a little much.
Blaine quickly changed the subject, hoping Hunter wouldn't pick up on his geeky slip. "So no night class, huh? It really is awesome you came tonight. Its so awesome how we've all ended up in New York and just, everyone's gelling on such a new and organic level. It's amazing."
