Elizabeth [open as feasible]
Who: Elizabeth
When: Monday, 17th August. 9.15am
Where: Infirmary
What: Elizabeth and Lys have had patients
So, Elizabeth had told Riley that if you started the day with a good breakfast the rest of the day was pretty much set.
Only, not always. She'd known that there'd been a problem in the night, but the sight of Aidan and Marti... not only that but Lys's magic didn't seem to work against whatever was in the acid that had burned the two of them. The bruises and sprains from the pressure of the Demon's tentacles were for the most part sorted, of course. Will was going to be fine since he'd had the presence of mind to take off his jacket before any of the acid could get through to his skin.
The other two weren't so lucky. Oh, they weren't in any danger, but it would take a while for the burns to heal if they would at all. Lys would keep doing what she could, naturally. After all, even if she couldn't heal them straight off, her magic couldn't do anything but good. And Elizabeth would keep up with more mundane methods to try and keep them both comfortable. She'd insisted on them staying in the infirmary. Whether they'd stay much longer remained to be seen. She would have the two most stubborn ones to threaten with bed straps and restraints.
Then again, Marti would very probably like that. It'd be something to take her mind off how her jacket was ruined by what seemed to be overactive slug juice.
Elizabeth sighed. She actually wanted to spend a little more time getting to know Riley. She was nothing if not practical and she knew it'd take time, not only for Riley to trust her but for her to trust Riley. She trusted Aric's assessment, but that didn't provide a bond at all. And that was fairly important since the girl was going to be living with them. Not to mention sorting out clothes for her at the very least.
Not only that, but she had to chase down Noah again for his annual medical. It really wasn't her day after all. Maybe she should have had vodka instead of tea. And it wasn't even lunchtime yet.
