Remus nearly jumped a mile as he heard Albus, scrambling to his feet as the slobbery ball fell onto the ground and he went into a salute, looking nervous as a hand shot out and pulled Sirius back carefully. "Um- I couldn't leave him in England Sir. I'm afraid I get rather... attached to animals," he said honestly enough. Albus wasn't as... off putting as Gellert was, but he was still damn smart and observing. He just prayed that Albus wouldn't some how sense that Sirius was 'Padfoot' or anything was unusual. He had planned a cover story the moment Sirius had arrived in Germany, telling everyone in his class that his parents were going to let him keep his dog Padfoot with him since the poor thing was sick for it's master.
