"I hate you." he repeated more firmly. Of course, the sniffle at the end of the statement gave him away. Immediately jerking away from Remus' touch then, he moved away from the door in the process until he was glaring at him in an accusatory manner from across the room. His eyes were red and puffy, and the splotchy coloring of his skin made it all the more apparent that he had been crying. "I'm not hungry." he informed him stubbornly, a bit like an insolent child. "I'm not hungry and I can deal with the cold." he said with a clenched jaw, jutting it out defiantly as he kept an even gaze on Remus. "What I can't deal with is you turning your back on me anymore." he said, clearing his throat at the end and blinking rapidly to keep himself from breaking once more.
