Sirius' entire body tensed when Remus wrapped his arms around him, hand gripping the knob as he listened to his voice. One thing caught his attention though, had his hand clenching the knob as he ground the words out. "How does he look at you?" he managed to make the question sound like a threat though he didn't turn towards Remus just yet. He knew he was right. He knew Lily was right. It was what he had tried to get Remus to see, but he had been unable to until now. And yet still Remus didn't see how truly awful it was because if he did, there would be nothing on this earth that would allow him to be at peace with being a member of the NAA.
"The price is more than terrifying. It's not worth it, but you still don't see that. You're still not listening to me. You're ignoring me. Every single request I've made you've pushed aside. You pushed me aside. You pushed our friendship aside." Sirius said, voice low and harsh as he spoke. "You've disregarded it all. Everything. All of it." he said in a low growl. He wanted to punch Remus. He wanted to turn around and shake some sense into him. When had Remus become like this? "I feel like I don't even know who you are anymore."
