"You're not a fucking wolf." Sirius snapped, slamming his fist into the wall behind him and sucking in a sharp, pained breath as he felt the plaster give beneath it. Clenching his jaw, he flexed his hand once more being punching Remus' wall once more. "You're a werewolf." he corrected him through heavy breathing. "I told you." he hissed softly after that, knowing it wouldn't help matters, but what was he supposed to do now? Now that Remus had been inducted? Now that Remus had signed himself into the cause? He looked so defeated though and it broke Sirius' heart.
"Fuck Remus. Fuck." he sighed, tugging his own hair and making a noise akin to a whimper before he collected himself enough to go over to Remus. He might have been tired and hungry and cold, but he was still strong enough to sit beside Remus and tug him unceremoniously into his lap. "You're not a monster Remus." he said in a soft, but firm voice. Remus was so warm, his arms instinctively pulled him tighter against him. "You're not pretending to be human, you are human, goddamnit. S'fucking brainwashing all over again. Just let society and Grindelwald dictate what they're supposed to be like instead of deciding for themselves." he snarled. He couldn't stand the green uniform on Remus, he wanted it off. He averted his eyes by tucking Remus' head beneath his chin and smoothing his hands over his arm and back. "You're not a monster." he repeated, "You're not. You're a right fucking idiot for this, but that just proves your human. Because making mistakes is a human characteristic and admittedly you're a bit above most of us, you're not entirely exempt." he said, though his jaw was still clenched. "I could kill you for leaving Remus. I could fucking kill you."
