"I'd make due," Kastra assured him. "As would your broom, if it knows what's good for it. But...let's not test that theory." While speaking, she didn't take her eyes off of the view beneath them. She could pick out various landmarks, such as the new museum, but they seemed like entirely different buildings from above. Kastra was fascinated with the power of a shift in perspective.
With the increase in speed and the wind now catching her hair, the whole experience was exhilarating.
"Or with anyone else," Kastra added to Regulus' statement. Had anyone else asked her to go flying, she would have easily abstained. Now, she found she was glad for her decision.
