Gellert's heart still pounded a little too fast and he had to force himself to take in a slow breath, to calm it, else his cardiac monitor misinterpret its pace as something much less benign. He grasped Remus's arm before the boy could pull entirely away, gazing up at him with wide eyes--eyes that he allowed to grow slightly glazed in a way that Remus could interpret as either lust or the effects of the medication Gellert was on as he chose.
"I trust you," Gellert said, his voice hushed and a little breathless as he drew Remus down once more. It was a lie. "Implicitly." He brushed their lips together again, a little softer this time, like an apology.
