Who: Cassandra and Perenelle What: Some girl talk When: Tuesday, May 11 Where: Cassandra's rooms Rating: Low Status: Incomplete
Cassandra couldn't even say how glad she was that Perenelle was going to be able to come for a visit. There was just so much going on right now. Everything was exceedingly overwhelming. It was as if life in Berlin had flipped right on its head. It might have been that Gellert was fairly out of the woods now, but nothing had really returned to normal. She was Seeing again; there was nothing to indicate that for a few days, she had passed out for hours on end every time she had had a vision. It was something that she still hadn't discussed at length with Albus and she certainly hadn't discussed with Gellert.
For now, instead of their weekly meetings, Cassandra had been taking fastidious notes about each of her visions. She had also started passing along information to those it would be useful to. This meant sometimes reporting to Albus, which was somewhat odd and somewhat difficult. She had tried to take care of him the best that she could. That mostly meant making sure that he was actually eating and sleeping properly. There was little else she could do. Regardless, she was suddenly doing some measure of reporting to Albus, which seemed somewhat callous. But it wasn't as if everything ground to a stop just because Gellert couldn't make the decision and Cassandra didn't dare let some things go unreported. She simply wasn't accustomed to making such distant reports to Albus. He had trained her, but she had always shared more personal things with him. In any case, she also had to make notes about who she had spoken about her visions and what decisions they had made. Needless to say she had a rather detail set of notes to deliver to Gellert.
Quietly, she was also dreading her first meeting with him.
But today, at least, was something of a reprieve from all that. It had to have been months now since she had seen Perenelle. She had so hoped to have visited Perenelle in Hogwarts by now, but things hadn't worked out that way for a series of obvious reasons. But Perenelle was here now, so there was no reason for them to not meet while she was here. It was nice, because Perenelle was someone she didn't have to worry about being with; there was less of a need for protocol and her detail didn't need to be in the room. It was a terrible thing, but it was nice to have that sort of company in somebody outside of Albus and Gellert. Perenelle had been in her life as long as they had, but Cassandra didn't work for Perenelle in any capacity and that made a world of difference.
She had had a pot of tea brought up along with a variety of small cakes. She was still standing up for the time being, arms crossed as she leaned up against the wall adjacent to the door and gazed out one of the windows. She was wearing a pair of robes which were a light blue toward the top that faded into a darker blue toward the hem. Underneath it, she was wearing comfortable, white loose clothing.
