Kastra didn't know where Regulus stood politically. She had never bothered to ask, and he had never volunteered the information himself. Perhaps that was why she enjoyed his company; their interaction existed outside of the lies and plotting that invaded every other area of Kastra's life. Though she knew that such carelessness had the potential to be dangerous in the future - she couldn't imagine her father would approve of the situation, given that she hadn't bothered to research into Regulus' personal life - she thought that she deserved a little reprieve. Without the politics, time spent with Regulus felt uncomplicated - a welcome break from the norm.
Kastra therefore smiled at Regulus' greeting, thoughts of her father and related complications pushed to the back of her mind. "Ready," she replied. "I've been looking forward to seeing just how well Hogwarts' best seeker can fly," she added playfully.
