She leaned down as consciousness returned more to his far too still form. As his mouth began to form words she let out a long held breath. It hadn't been a figment of her imagination, the slight flutter of his eyes twitch of instruments. Her lips curved into a slow smile. Albus. Yes, Albus was here. Some sentimental part of her reacted sharply with his words. There had been moments in her life where she had wondered about the truth depth of feeling that a man like Gellert actually possessed. It was a moment like this that quelled any worry she might have held.
"He's here." She managed to say before the flurry of healers rushed into the room taking up the space along side his bed. She gave his hand a squeeze before stepping back to allow the professionals their space to overwhelm the Chancellor.
The room quickly became too small for even her presence and Perenelle quickly slipped free of it's confines. She pushed through the hallway where any staff that was able was peeking down the hall at the sudden activity in the very high profile room. It wasn't far down the hall, where she had told Albus to sleep, told in a way that gave no room for question. With a small motion of her hand the door was shifted open and she stepped inside. "Albus," A step closer to the bed she had instructed him to sleep away his exhaustion, drug induced if required. "He's awake." She said the simple words that she knew would wake him if saying his name had not done the trick. Words he'd been waiting far too long to hear.
