Summary: Caradoc puts in face time with the Order, and wanted to get out of his house to prevent himself from going stir crazy.
Status: Complete
After seeing Sirius and his son, Caradoc knew he was long overdue to put in some time with his fellow Order members. He was keeping track of European news for Albus, trying to maintain some of the connections he had made over the past 17 years to filter sympathetic news from the mainland. There wasn't a lot to pass on at the moment, but he made sure to document what he could from the owls and other sources he had access to. He hadn't checked in in a good while, and was beginning to feel guilty. He shouldn't have had to find out about Sirius' son like that, or about him and Remus. He felt like a bit of an ass that Sirius had to come find him.
So he was making an attempt to be social, but it felt awkward. Godric's Hollow, with its pocket of small houses, was full of faces both familiar and unfamiliar though most were probably safely nestled in the little houses. He didn't know whether to go looking specifically for someone, or just hang around and hope to catch someone's attention. For that moment, he was content to just be at Godric's Hollow, and see buildings, grass and fixtures that weren't his home in Wales.
He found himself a patch of grass to sit on in a small courtyard-like area of lawn that marked a center point in Godric's Hollow, the houses surrounding it sort of. He stretched his legs out infront of him and closed his eyes as he leaned back on his hands, trying to let the atmosphere and safety of the place relax him.
