"Ready isn't really a word I would use for this moment," Caradoc grumbled as he finally got his hands on the box. It felt like he was gripping a block of ice minus the slickness of water, just the burning chill of his skin pressed to it. He hissed and quickly backed away, dropping the box in the middle of the room away from any other obstacles. He rubbed his pants on his pants to warm them back up, but didn't waste time. He knelt right back down and looked up at Orion.
"Count of three..." Caradoc murmured as his fingers lingered over the lid, "One... two... three!"
