The werewolf swirled his tea a little before clearing his throat. "I don't blame you for getting angry with me, so don't apologize" Remus repeated firmly. "You were angry with me because I wasn't treating you the way you should have been treated. There's no reason to feel bad about expressing how you felt, and you, out of all of us, have been forced to swallow your words the most."
He took a long swing of his tea then, finishing it off. "I didn't contact you," he said in a softer voice, setting the mug aside, "because I wasn't sure if you would want to hear from me. I also didn't want to risk anything knowing how precarious the situation is at work for you, but mostly it was because, well, I didn't want to bother you. But now that you're here," Remus added with a small smile, "stay. Talk. I heard about what happened with the Weasleys; you found their long lost son?"
